Castleford’s trip to Catalans in jeopardy

Castleford’s Super League clash with Catalans Dragons could be postponed due to positive Covid-19 cases in the Tigers camp, Yorkshire Live is reporting.

Three of the club’s on-field staff have recorded positive tests which means that all 21 players who travelled on the coach to Wembley for the Challenge Cup final, as well as the coaching staff, will need to isolate.

With further testing tomorrow and with track and trace needing analysis to see who must isolate, the Tigers may be unable to raise a team to travel to Perpignan on Saturday.
