Round 1 of Super League concludes with a blockbuster clash between two sides desperate to make the play-offs. Both Castleford and Warrington are set to say goodbye to their current coaches and will be looking for big years in 2021.
Daryl Powell is without 4 first teamers whilst only a late fitness test will reveal whether Danny Richardson is ready to go. If he isn’t it could be the perfect opportunity for Gareth O’Brien to make a real impression in the halves. New signing Jordan Turner could be handed a debut but in his way at centre is skipper Michael Shenton and Peter Mata’utia.
The big news for Warrington is the absence of huge signing Greg Inglis. With that in mind I think we could see Stefan Ratchford feature at centre with Matty Ashton at fullback however there’s a possibility that young Connor Wrench could start at centre as he did in Chris Hill’s testimonial. Matt Davies and Sitaleki Akauola are also out and could be joined by Blake Austin if he fails to recover from a knock to his knee.
