Castleford and Hull KR have both announced their 21-man squads for Thursday evening’s Super League fixture at the Totally Wicked Stadium (KO 5:30pm).
It’s been an underwhelming season for the Tigers, who have picked up just five wins from 14 games.
Their squad has been hit with Covid-19 issues and injuries in recent weeks, with their most recent loss being a heavy 48-6 defeat to Hull FC last Sunday.
Rovers, meanwhile, have notched just three victories all year, but did win their last game 24-22 against Salford.
Castleford Tigers
Daryl Powell makes four changes to his squad, with Derrell Olpherts, Greg Eden, Daniel Smith and Dan Fleming returning. They replace Brad Graham, who made his professional debut at the weekend, Gareth O’Brien, Matt Cook and Tyla Hepi. Youngsters Brad Martin and Bailey Hodgson retain their spots.
21-man squad: 2 Derrell Olpherts, 4 Michael Shenton, 6 Jake Trueman, 7 Danny Richardson, 9 Paul McShane, 10 Grant Millington, 12 Mike McMeeken, 13 Adam Milner, 14 Nathan Massey, 15 Jesse Sene-Lefao, 17 Alex Foster, 18 Cheyse Blair, 19 Daniel Smith, 20 Junior Moors, 22 Jacques O’Neill, 25 Greg Eden, 27 Lewis Peachey, 31 Brad Martin, 33 Bailey Hodgson, 35 Jack Sanderson, 36 Dan Fleming.
Hull Kingston Rovers
Fullback Will Dagger returns for Rovers after recovering from a knee injury. The real quandary for Tony Smith, though, is who plays in the halves, with Jordan Abdull, Mikey Lewis, Jamie Ellis and Rowan Milnes all vying for starting spots.
