Castleford Tigers vs St Helens: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

For some reason, Castleford-Saints games always seem to tell a superb story and as the two teams meet in good form, it promises to serve up once again.

The Tigers have won the last three league games turning around their season but against the Champions it’ll be a tough test.

As for Saints, they underlined their title credentials with two wins over Easter against sides inside the top four. It’ll take a herculean effort from the Tigers to stop their winning run.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage starts on Sky Sports Arena from 19:30.

Predicted Line-ups

Castleford Tigers
The main thing for Cas to consider is the fullback role. Niall Evalds has dropped out through injury leaving Lee Radford with a conundrum to solve. Greg Eden’s impending return could be there with James Clare staying on the wing or vice versa. Jason Qareqare is an outside bet for the role having played plenty of reserves rugby there. However, it seems he will remain on the bench for this one after signing a new two-year deal.

St Helens
Kristian Woolf only named one of his first 13 squad numbers for this game and that was Jack Welsby who could very well move into halves with no Jonny Lomax or the injured Lewis Dodd available. He’ll possibly be joined by the versatile Daniel Moss in the halves whilst the impressive Jon Bennison figures at fullback. There will be games for Ben Davies and Josh Simm at centre whilst Dan Norman could start alongside Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook at prop with Joey Lussick at nine. Sam Royale and James Bell will start at second-row with Jake Wingfield.
