Castleford Tigers vs Hull KR: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Hull KR’s road to the Challenge Cup Final was stopped dead in its tracks on Saturday by a rampant Huddersfield side, but there’s no time for licking wounds.

The Robins are enjoying a very strong season and cannot allow the defeat to send them off the rails. So a win against the Tigers here is vital to getting back on track.

As for the Tigers, they’ve turned things around recently but that revival came undone as they were soundly beaten by Catalans. After a week’s rest, they’ll hope to bounce back and re-establish their good form.

The game kicks off at 15:30.

There will be no TV coverage but highlights will be available on Super League’s YouTube channel and BBC’s Super League show.

The big boost for the Tigers is the return of Greg Eden who – if 100% fit – will almost certainly come into the side. It will be interesting to see if both James Clare and Jason Qareqare are left out of the team with a debut for Ryan Hampshire at fullback a real possibility. There will still be no Danny Richardson after he starred for the reserves yesterday.

Things are getting really tough for Tony Smith and Hull KR. The Robins have lost another key player in Jordan Abdull which could finally see Brad Takairangi return to the side in the halves a role he played often last season. There may also be a return from Luis Johnson who could come onto the bench and be a welcome boost following the loss of Kane Linnett.
