Castleford aren’t without troubles of their own, with Jeremiah Simbiken picking up two one-match suspensions following last week’s 38-24 loss to Leeds Rhinos.
They will also be without winger Lee Kershaw, who has been recalled from his loan deal from parent club Hull KR.
Cain Robb returns to the side and replaces Liam Horne as starting hooker, who is on the bench instead.
Tex Hoy and Daejarn Asi remain in the halves, with Fletcher Rooney continuing at fullback.
Salford have gone with the strongest side available to them, following news that their players have now been paid for February.
Tim Lafai and Brad Singleton drop out of the side after their 42-0 loss to Hull KR last Thursday.
They’re also without Jayden Nikorima and Jake Shorrocks through suspension.
Youngster Kai Morgan comes into the side and starts at hooker, with Marc Sneyd pairing up with Chris Atkin in the halves.
