Hull KR will be without Joe Burgess for the second week running when they take on Castleford Tigers this evening.
The Robins are still on a high after their Challenge Cup win earlier this month and they know that a win at The Jungle tonight will be enough to see them move four points clear at the top of the Super League table. That would be for 24 hours at least with Wigan Warriors, their nearest challengers in action on Friday night against Wakefield Trinity.
Willie Peters has made just one change to his side with Sam Luckley coming back into the fold after he sat out of the win over Catalans Dragons last week. He starts on the bench, with Eribe Doro relegated to 18th man duties.
There’s no Burgess, though, with the winger still carrying a minor knock from the Cup final. As such, Noah Booth gets the nod to start once more on the wing and he’ll be keen to continue impressing after getting over the line last time out.
Castleford boss Danny McGuire has named an unchanged side to the one that beat Hull FC last Friday night. That means Tom Amone will be going up against the club he will be joining next season from the start, while Chris Atkin has kept his spot at loose-forward with Joe Westerman on the bench.
Dan Okoro is the 18th man, meaning unless something changes he will be denied the chance to play against his old side, with George Hill and Sam Hall named on the bench. Zac Cini remains at full-back in the absence of Tex Hoy.
