Castleford Tigers v Hull FC: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Things have stalled for Lee Radford at the Jungle. The former Hull FC boss has yet to oversee a win so far this campaign so the pressure is ramped up high as his Tigers take on the Black and Whites.

It’ll be the first time since he was relieved of his duties at Hull FC, despite guiding them to two Challenge Cups, that he’ll coach against them and his Tigers enter the game as underdogs having lost their opening three.

As for Hull FC and current boss Brett Hodgson, things seem a lot more rosy. They ploughed through Salford last week with a thumping 48-16 win and looked very good in the process. Can they heap more misery on their former boss?

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game will kick off this afternoon at the Jungle at 15:30.

There will be no live TV coverage of the game but highlights will be available on the Super League YouTube channel and BBC’s Super League Show.

Predicted line-ups

Castleford Tigers
The Tigers have lost three of the players who featured last week with Liam Watts and Bureta Faraimo both absent through suspension whilst George Griffin has picked up a slight injury. Faraimo’s absence means this could be Greg Eden’s chance to force his way back into the side permanently unless Radford goes for young Jason Qareqare instead. George Lawler’s return from suspension is timely as he can go some way to replacing Watts and Griffin. The only remaining question after that is who else will help cover the loss of that particular duo with the likes of Tyla Hepi and Brad Martin pushing for that spot.

Hull FC
Like Castleford, Hull have lost two players with Carlos Tuimavave dropping out of the 21 man squad after an injury hit start to the season with fellow centre and star of the show against Salford Cameron Scott also dropping out. Fortunately for Hull, they are boosted by the return of Andre Savelio and the potential debut of Kane Evans. Speaking of new signings, Joe Lovodua will likely start at second-row again having shone there last week with Jordan Lane set to return to loose-forward after another superb showing against Salford and signing a new deal.
