Castleford Tigers makes groundbreaking stride with new off-field position

Castleford Tigers have announced a groundbreaking position on offer at the club in a bid to improve communication between supporters and those working at the Jungle.

It is a position advertised as ‘Head of Fan Engagement’ as the Tigers attempt to improve their marketing success in a time of difficulty following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The full-time role has a negotiable salary, with Castleford set to enter a new era under head coach Lee Radford after eight-and-a-half years under former boss Daryl Powell.

The job description includes: “As part of our expansion plans, we are looking to recruit a Head of Fan Experience to help us deliver a first-class match day experience at the Mend A Hose Jungle.

The role will encompass building the profile of the Club by looking for ways to improve the fan experience both on and away from matchdays.

“The successful candidate will be expected to grow the number of memberships, market and enhance the overall matchday experience and be comfortable analysing data.”

The position could be a revelation for the club, so prepare to witness a difference if you are a Castleford supporter when this position gets filled.
