Castleford Tigers launch radical new kit

Castleford Tigers have brought out their third kit for 2022 – and it’s quite different to the usual patterns.

With the Tigers entering their so-called #NewCasEra in 2022, both the club and official kit partners OXEN have created a unique look back at the history of Castleford in a shirt.

Made with the new material as all our 2022 kits are, fans will spot the likes of the town’s coat of arms, a miner’s helmet and a tartan style scarf based on the industrial history of the region.

Furthermore, in the design are four Challenge Cup trophies, the formation year of the club, the League Leaders’ Shield, a classic Cas shirt, and right in the middle is a rugby-playing tiger.

The Tigers are set to take on Huddersfield Giants tomorrow at the John Smith’s Stadium in a bid to earn back-to-back results for the first time in 2022.

Amongst those set to return for Castleford are Kenny Edwards, Liam Watts and Jake Mamo though Niall Evalds is set to sit out with a hamstring injury again.
