Greg Eden has become one of the most talked about wingers in Super League after his exploits in recent seasons.
The fleet-footed winger registered over 40 tries in his comeback season with the Castleford Tigers in 2017 following two years in the NRL at Brisbane Broncos.
Since then, Eden has cemented his reputation – though his try-scoring exploits have somewhat slowed down – and is ready for a new challenge under Lee Radford.
However, the 31-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent times and he spoke to the Drop Goal podcast
“Last year, 2021, I managed to pick up three hamstring injuries in the same year,” Eden said.
“My first one was a hamstring tendon at the back of my knee and the area it was made the others occur.
“We were struggling for players and maybe I rushed back one or two games back early.
“I’m always pretty good with my diet and hydration but I thought it would be time to take it up a notch and make sure I’m fully hydrated and eat good food and make sure I’m on top of things.
“I’m aged 31 now and it’s the age you start picking up niggles.
“For the rest of my career I need to be on top of it to prolong it.”
