The teams are in for the final game of Super League Round 19, as Castleford Tigers welcome Leeds Rhinos to Wheldon Road.
Leeds have won on their last three trips to Castleford, with their last outing seeing them rack up over 60 points against their local rivals.
Given the form of both sides, it’s not impossible to think that could happen again, but Castleford are expecting a near sell-out this afternoon, and will want to put on a strong showing in front of their home fans.
Both sides have been forced into changes for this game having suffered injuries last time out.
Starting with the home side, and Tom Weaver returns after being dropped in favour of youngster Jenson Windley against Leigh.
Krystian Mapapalangi remains absent this week after being a late withdrawal in Round 18, meaning Mikaele Ravalawa remains in the side and Alex Mellor moves to centre.
Liam Hood returns from injury, whilst Ashton Golding switches to the back row.
Visitors Leeds have made three changes, with Alfie Edgell making his first appearance of the year on the wing, replacing Riley Lumb.
Jarrod O’Connor misses out through HIA protocols, whilst captain Ash Handley is also sidelined. That means Danny Levi will likely play the full 80, whilst Jack Bird returns in the centres.
O’Connor’s absence means a spot opens up on the interchange bench for Tom Nicholson-Watton, who featured on loan for Castleford earlier this season.
