Super League side Castleford Tigers have confirmed the immediate signing of a powerhouse prop.
The Tigers have certainly lacked power in their pack so far this season with Danny McGuire’s team winning just once in Super League and often finding themselves losing the territory battle.
Plenty of that has come down to their inability to get on the front foot and lay a platform for their halves to play, something the club have seemingly recognised as they dip into the transfer market.
They’ve also signed prop Brad Singleton from cash-strapped Salford Red Devils but the veteran is out with injury at the moment, and they also lost fellow veteran Liam Watts who signed for Hull FC.
As such, the club are actually down on their number of available props from the start of the season which explains their motivation to recruit a new forward, especially ahead of Thursday night’s Rivals Round clash against Wakefield Trinity where their new loanee could debut.

Castleford have confirmed the immediate loan signing of Catalans Dragons forward Jordan Dezaria with the Frenchman arriving in time for Thursday night’s clash.
Dezaria has found game time hard to come by on account of Catalans’ monstrous pack that features the likes of Tevita Pangai Jr, Julian Bousquet, Chris Satae, Romain Navarrete, Paul Seguier, and even captain Benjamin Garcia who has shifted into the props.
As such, Dezaria has joined the Tigers in a move that benefits both the Perpignan club and Castleford with the 28-year-old getting some much-needed game time.
The French international has made 72 Super League appearances so far in his career with the majority of that career spent in Perpignan.
So far, he has played just three games in 2025 for the Dragons with the last coming against Castleford in Round Five, a game where Les Dracs beat the Tigers 26-4.
It has been confirmed that the loan deal will be for one month.
Tigers have strengthened their squad with the addition of French International forward @JordanDezaria from Catalan Dragons.
The 28-year-old made his Super League Debut for Catalan Dragons in 2016.
