Going into the 2022 Super League season, Lee Radford made a whole host of new signings for Castleford Tigers.
Some of those signings included Jake Mamo, Bureta Faraimo, Mahe Fonua and Alex Sutcliffe who came through the doors at the Jungle, but there is expected to be another large turnaround heading into 2023.
The likes of Wakefield Trinity halfback Jacob Miller and Warrington Wolves halfback Gareth Widdop have been linked with a move to Castleford, but Radford remained coy on who will be coming through the doors.
When asked if he was happy with how recruitment and retention was going for 2023, Radford replied: “I’m happy with how that is going,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
“We are not completely signed off on it yet – I think bringing in what’s available at that time is the cards you are dealt with but trying to freshen the place up is what’s important.”
The likes of Greg Eden, Derrell Olpherts, James Clare and Sosaia Feki are all out of contract at the end of the season, but Radford seems determined to shake things after a mediocre season so far.
