Castleford Tigers announce three key sponsorship deals

Castleford Tigers have announced three major sponsorship deals – two with new companies and one with an existing sponsor.

Eurocell is new to the Tigers brand, but they supply a full range of quality UPVC products to homeowners, specifiers & trade customers.

When asked about the new partnership, regional operations manager Phil Woosey stated that he wanted the branch to be linked with an important part of the community and saw the Fords as a great way to integrate themselves in the local area.

“Coming to Castleford has been something we have been looking at for some time now. Coming into a new town, we want to pick something in the town that was key to people in it and that’s why we have joined up with Castleford Tigers,” Woosey said.

“Being a rugby league fan myself, I know that rugby league is a key feature of Castleford life and that’s the way we wanted to promote ourselves within the town.”

Castleford also announced a deal with Molson Coors yesterday – a company whicih has a brewing tradition stretching back more than 200 years.

It includes iconic beer brands such as Carling, Coors, and Doom Bar in its portfolio, which has over the years spread beyond the beer to include ciders, ready-to-drink cocktails, and hard seltzers.

Richard Hawthorn, regional on-trade director at Molson Coors, said: “We have partnerships with some of the most prestigious sports clubs across the UK and we’re pleased to add Castleford Tigers to that list.

“The club’s fans asked to see the nation’s favourite brands stocked in the bars and we’ve been more than happy to oblige through this exciting partnership. They will be able to choose from much-loved drinks including Coors and an exciting new premium European-style lager in Madri Exceptional. We’re looking forward to supporting Cas through the season ahead.”

Last but not least, the Tigers have also struck up a deal with existing sponsors Logic-i which has only been a company since 2019.

Logic-i has combined decades of industry experience in commercial and contract management, planning, and project controls within the construction and industrial sectors.

Jason Nowell, Director at Logic-i shared his delight about the partnership continuing with the Tigers and said: “Despite a difficult year off the field, Castleford Tigers always ensured to engage with Logic-i.

“Logic-i thoroughly enjoyed our first year as a partner and look forward to engaging with both the Tigers and their partners in 2022.”

It’s looking good off the field for the West Yorkshire club and Lee Radford will certainly have something to say on the field too.
