Castleford have confirmed that five senior players will miss Adam Milner’s testimonial against Hull KR on Sunday through injury.
Suaia Matagi has succumbed to a calf problem which will see him ruled out of the Tigers’ round one fixture against Warrington, whilst Danny Richardson, Liam Watts, George Griffin and Greg Eden sit out the Hull KR fixture as precautions.
It’s not exactly a great end to pre-season for the Tigers, who take on Warrington in round one of the Betfred Super League on Sunday 28 March.
