Castleford went down 26-22 to Hull KR on Monday night in what was the first game held at the Jungle for over a year.
However, whilst the Tigers fans traipsed down the famous Wheldon Road, those on the field were met with a stellar Rovers display. And, despite being 14-0 up at one stage and 20-12 up at half-time, Castleford could not hold on or the two points.
The final points of the day were scored by man-of-the-match Jordan Abdull who bounced off the attempted tackle of Peter Mata’utia to crash over.
The Tigers centre was disappointed to say the least in that effort and his overall performance and took to Twitter to air his frustrations.
Personally, last nights efforts was shit by me.
But I do want to thank everyone who turned up last night. It was so good seeing the town back especially the kids.
