Castleford justified favourites against Hull on Thursday night rugby ?

Lee Radford’s Hull travel to Castleford on Thursday to kick off the rugby league weekend .

Both sides had narrow victories last week , the Tigers had to rely on golden point , but both have been a little inconsistent of late .

The odds tell us this should be a close affair with Castleford around 4/7 and 6/4 for an away win , given the closeness of games in Super League lately surely the 80 minute draw at 20/1 looks great value .

I just fancy the black and whites to win this , they’ve won 4 of their last 5 ( the one loss being the magic weekend debacle against Huddersfield) in league and cup as they challenge Catalans for 3rd place . Cas also took a battering at magic weekend and also lost a cup tie at the KCOM last month so will be looking to avoid a 3rd loss to their rivals from down the M62 .
They were quite fortunate to beat Huddersfield last week and Hull are clearly a better side than the Giants . Both sides have struggled with injuries but are starting to get players back as we enter the final push towards the play offs but with Albert Kelly getting back to his best I feel FC may just nick this by 1-5 points .
Best value is probably Hull getting a 4 point start at evens with Bet 365 .

McShane and Truman head man of the match markets at 7/1 , I’d just favour McShane . Plenty of candidates in black and white with Sneyd , Kelly and Connor all 9/1 . It has to be Kelly for me on his current form .
