Castleford investigating incident at Featherstone game

Castleford investigating incident

Castleford Tigers have released a brief club statement regarding an incident that took place in Featherstone last night.

Rumours on social media suggest a current Castleford player, believed to be Rangi Chase, was escorted out of the Featherstone Rovers-Halifax Challenge Cup match last night.

The Tigers statement reads: “Castleford Tigers are aware of an incident that occurred last night in Featherstone. The club is investigating the incident and will make no further comment at this time.”

Daryl Powell is currently readying his players for their blockbuster sixth round Challenge Cup tie against St Helens tomorrow and this news will be an unwelcome distraction for the Tigers head coach.
