One of the things we all love about a new season is the release of a new kit.
Of course, a bad shirt design can enrage fans whilst a quality design gets everyone even more excited for the new season.
These days, there’s a lot more to kits than designs and colours. With clubs becoming bigger and better, sponsors are becoming more and more important especially as money becomes key to recruitment and subsequent success.
Today Castleford announced an exciting new development in their sponsorship deal with London based company Ergo Real Estate. As they increase their involvement with the club, their logo will feature on the club’s shirt in 2022.
Next year, the sponsors will only appear on the playing kits whilst 2023 will see their logo included on the replica kits produced for supporters.
According to the club website, Ergo will appear at the bottom of the sleeves on the 2022 kit but it remains to be seen just how their logo could compliment the new design with the 2022 shirt yet to be released. Nonetheless, it will be a new look for a new era.
