Card compilation: Super League stars punished with red and yellow cards for foul play in round one

Referees have gone into the 2022 Super League season eager to crack down on foul play in a bid to alleviate the number of injuries sustained in the elite competition.

Over the weekend of round one fixtures, three men received red cards with another five punished with yellows – including two games that had three cards in total.

For us at Serious About Rugby League, with the increasing number of punishments being handed out, we thought it would be beneficial if all of the cards dished out at the weekend were put in one place.
