Huddersfield Giants’ Jordan Rankin says his new club can mix it with the big boys in Super League.
The former NRL utility back has only recently signed with the Giants but his time with the West Yorkshire side has been a successful one so far.
With the top four still in sight, Rankin is confident the Giants can push for a semi-final spot despite the pessimism of others.
“Everyone is writing us off and not giving us a chance,” the Australian told the Yorkshire Post.
“But as long as we are still in with a chance we will keep moving forward.
“If we keep our players fit then I know we can match it with the best teams in the competition.
“It’s pretty close all the way down, if you pick up a couple of wins it will give you a chance to jump a couple of places.”
