Can the 11/4 Centurions win in France ?

Hull FC 22-26 Leigh Centurions

2 games in the middle 8 on Sky again today, 1st up sees Championship side  Halifax visit Warrington.

A 100% record so far has seen Wire probably need only 2 more wins to ensure their safety, and with all 4 Championship sides still to play they shouldn’t have to wait too long for that. Fax get a massive 40 point start on the handicap for this but with the Wolves scoring tries for fun you get the feeling that may not be enough.

Halifax did push Hull KR close in week one of the middle 8 but lost by 24 points at home to Widnes last week.
This is a strange choice for Sky due to the one sided odds for it and you have to think the bookies are right to make the visitors as big as 40/1 to pull off a shock.

A Wire win by around 46-50 points is where I think this could end up but really the score could be anything, and maybe a game for fun bets on tryscorers etc.

You can get 4/1 for any Halifax player scoring the 1st try but Lineham heads the betting at 5/1.
I’d prefer 8/1 for Ryan Atkins, as for the visitors Steve Tyrer is a prolific tryscorer at Championship level and 9/2 is good odds for him to cross the whitewash anytime in the game.

2nd game sees Leigh travel to Perpignan to take on Catalans.

These 2 played a humdinger at the back end of the regular season and this could be another high scoring encounter.

The Dragons concede a 10 point start on the handicap which is alot when you consider their dire form of late.
A fortunate win over London in week one was followed by a heavy defeat at Wire last week and the Centurions, who lost narrowly to Hull KR last week, can stay inside that for me.

This is a game that could go either way with the loser likely to be playing in the million pound game so the French side are way too short at 2/7 to win the game.
11/4 for the Centurions doesn’t appeal either but Leigh the value is probably Leigh on the handicap.
If pushed I’d have to go for a home win by 1-10 points.
In what should be a try fest I think this could go way over the total points line which will be around 50.

Yaha and Tierney head 1st try lists at 10/1, I’d favour Tierney,  Greg Mcnally at 16/1 looks value for Centurions fans.
