Callum McLelland addresses Castleford rumours

Leeds halfback Callum McLelland has spoken to to the Rhinos website about his future, having been linked with a move to former club Castleford.

McLelland has played just 11 games for Leeds in two years, but getting back out there is his major focus.

“At the end of the day I’ve not been playing,” McLelland said.

“It’s obviously a bit worrying when you have been injured, but when you do play those sort of things take care of themselves.

“I’ve not made any decisions as yet so I’ll wait and see what happens later in the year.”

McLelland began his rugby league career at the Tigers, progressing through the club’s youth system before leaving the sport to join Edinburgh Rugby at the end of 2017.

After a spell in Scotland, McLelland returned to the 13-a-side game with Leeds, signing for three-and-a-half years.
