Widnes Vikings forward Hep Cahill has signed a two-year contract extension at Widnes Vikings.
With rumours of a possible off-season move away from Widnes, Denis Betts will be delighted to have tied down Cahill for the foreseeable future.
The back-rower has made 16 appearances this season, scoring a lone try.
A consistent performer in defence, Cahill has been one of the star players for the Vikings this season and he will be eager to keep his side in the top tier through the Qualifiers.
It’s a timely boost for the club, whose fate in the bottom four of Super League has already been decided.
