The Magic Weekend has sadly been and gone.
Day One finished with a dramatic clash between Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos.
The Tigers battled back from 24-14 to claim a third win of the season and worsen Leeds Rhinos’ recent woes.
Phil Clarke was very impressed by the game and the skill from the Tigers to claim the win.
“A great game of rugby with drama and controversy. A great bit of skill at the end to win the game,” Clarke said on Sky Sports.
“The enjoyment from Castleford, it is almost priceless for them to have come here and got the win.”

Brian Carney meanwhile stated that the Tigers celebrated like they had won silverware:
“That is what struck me yesterday. It was their third win of the season. They probably won’t get near the play-offs, they probably won’t get relegated, but they celebrated like they had won some silverware.”
Barrie McDermott echoed this suggestion:
“That is a bitter rivalry. Cas Tigers, one of their other wins was against Leeds, and I felt Cas had a belief and a desire to get one over Leeds.”
