Warrington Wolves have been in shocking form as of recently.
After a great start to the Super League season, the Wolves have won just two from 11 games with four losses in a row.
And, the crowd inside the Halliwell Jones Stadium certainly made their feelings known with some heavy booing as well as remonstrating with players after the final whistle.
For Sky Sports pundit Brian Carney, he believes that potential unrest could lie from the number of players that will be bidding their goodbyes at the end of the 2022 season with head coach Daryl Powell outlining his plans for the future.
“You’ve got Josh Charnley there who will not be there with Connor Wrench getting in front of him and that’s Daryl’s prerogative,” Carney said.
“Mike Cooper will not be there and we are not sure if Gareth Widdop will be there either and that will cause unrest.”
Powell has already began his rebuild of the Warrington side with the likes of Sam Kasiano, Gil Dudson and Thomas Mikaele all joining the club, but there is likely to be many more through the doors.
The likes of Ellis Robson, Rob Butler and Chris Hill have departed under Powell’s watch with more expected, too.
