Yesterday, the rugby league world was rocked by news that Featherstone Rovers may have to sit out the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup following positive COVID-19 tests.
However, after 17 PCR tests were taken by the squad, they have all come back negative, meaning the final can now go ahead.
It’s brilliant news for Rovers – as well as York City Knights – whose final had hung in the balance following the initial devastating leak.
