Bradford Bulls coach Geoff Toovey has admired his side’s resolve and bravery despite being relegated to League 1.
The West Yorkshire club, who started the season on minus 12 points after going into liquidation, lost 26-10 to Toulouse Olympique which confirmed their fate.
Former Manly coach Toovey praised his players following the Toulouse loss, mentioning the situation they had to deal with during pre-season.
“Their resolve hasn’t been questioned all year, particularly at the beginning of the year when the club was in receivership, they were still here and training a month later,” Toovey told the Telegraph and Argus.
“To go from that, to the point we are now is a brave achievement.
“We would have liked to have been in a better position for sure but I think you’ll see the same effort that you saw yesterday in the next six games.”
