Bradford Bulls boss Kurt Haggerty has revealed that centre Ed Chamberlain will miss the remainder of the year through injury.
Chamberlain, who is on loan from Hull FC, has suffered a Lisfranc injury, keeping him out for the remainder of the year.
Haggerty confirmed the news in his weekly press conference, saying: “His season is done… As we’ve always said it’s the next man up mentality.
“We’ve got outside backs fit, so whoever plays there will be ripping into the team.”
Bradford now have three outside backs out for the year, as Chamberlain joins Jayden Okunbor and Esan Marsters as long-term casualties.
In terms of who replaces him, the boss said: “We’ve got a few options. There’s Guy Artmitage, Connor Wynne, Luke Hooley, so we’ve got a couple of options there.”
Haggerty will converse with the Hull FC medical staff to see whether Chamberlain will remain at the club to complete his rehab, or if he will return to parent club Hull FC.
Also on the injury front, clarification was provided on prop Eribe Doro, who failed a HIA after he wasn’t wearing the instrumented mouthguard in the defeat to Leigh.
However, because he passed the concussion test, he is free to play against the Dragons in what is a big boost to Haggerty’s side.

Bradford Bulls boss offers Jayden Nikorima update
Haggerty revealed he was uncertain whether star half-back Jayden Nikorima will play against his former club this week.
The Bulls head to Catalans Dragons this week, with Nikorima set to return to the side in order to face his ex-employers.
The 29-year-old played for the Perpignan outfit in 2024, before departing mid-season to join Salford Red Devils.
After 18 months under Paul Rowley, he followed Haggerty to Bradford, where he has shone – his only problem has been staying on the field.
On Nikorima’s fitness, Haggerty said: “He’s still 50-50 at the moment. He’s still struggling to get through training sessions, but he’s reassuring me that he’s going to be okay.
Caleb Aekins was also a concern following the game on Sunday, however the boss is confident he will be fine for this week.
He said: “Caleb’s okay. He’s in a bit of pain with his abductor, but he should be okay.”
