Bradford Bulls star and former Hull FC target faces potential TWELVE-MATCH ban

Earlier on today, the Match Review Panel handed out its sanctions following the weekend’s fixtures.

Those included:

Dylan Napa (Catalans Dragons) – Grade B High Tackle – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Gil Dudson (Catalans Dragons) – Grade C Head Butt – 3 Match Penalty Notice
Mitchell Pearce (Catalans Dragons) Grade B Disputing Decision – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Courage Mkuhlani (Wakefield Trinity) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Emmerson Whittel (Oldham) – Grade D Dangerous Contact – Refer to Tribunal
Callum Cameron (Oldham) – Grade F Other Contrary Behaviour – Refer to Tribunal
Fuifui Moimoi (Rochdale Hornets) – Grade C Punching – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Ebon Scurr (Bradford Bulls) – Grade F Other Contrary Behaviour – Refer to Tribunal

The following player was handed a caution:

Callum Cameron (Oldham) – Other Contrary Behaviour

Catalans were, of course, hit hard by the Match Review Panel – though Warrington Wolves will actually suffer more in 2023 with Gil Dudson set to miss the first three games of next season.

However, one of those charged with a Grade FC Other Contrary Behaviour is Bradford Bulls’ Ebon Scurr, who was said to be on Hull FC’s radar last season with the prop forward making quite the impression throughout the leagues.

The Match Review minutes state: “Law 15.1 (i) Other Contrary Behaviour Grade F,” but it does not say exactly what Scurr has done, though it should state the offence following the Operational Rules Tribunal tomorrow night.

The minutes state exactly the same for Callum Cameron, who has also been handed a Grade F Other Contrary Behaviour charge, but it has been revealed on the minutes that Cameron has been cited for headbutt and punching.

If both are found guilty, they could face as many as 12 matches being sat on the sideline through suspension which of course would impact a lot of the 2023 season for both Scurr and Cameron.
