Bradford Bulls hooker Mitch Souter will spend the next month on loan in the Championship, in a bid for some quality game time.
Souter is a dynamic number nine who likes to speed up the play, but his opportunities in the first team have been limited this season.
Andy Ackers was brought in to be the starting hooker this season, with the ex-Canberra Raiders man used as a ’14’ option from the bench.
The 25-year-old has made just eight Super League appearances this season, with his last coming in May against Warrington Wolves.
Souter has linked up with local outfit Dewsbury Rams for the next month, and will come straight into contention this week when they take on Sheffield Eagles.
It will be the first time since arriving in the UK that the hooker has played for somebody other than Bradford, who was a fan favourite at the club, especially in their Championship seasons.
