Bradford Bulls have released a statement following their recent run of bad form.
The Bulls have won just 50% of their games so far in the 2022 Championship and, for a club that wants Super League as the aim, that just isn’t good enough.
As such, Bradford sit in ninth and have released a defiant statement in light of the results.
Bradford said in a statement: “We appreciate and understand your frustrations following recent results. A return of four wins from eight is not where any of us wanted to be at this stage of the season. But rest assured everyone at the club is working hard to get us where we need to be.
“We have high expectations, like you all, and we are not meeting those expectations currently. But it is a long old season. In times like this it is important we all stick together and as a club we are all eager to reserve the fortunes as soon as possible. And that will only happen by rolling our sleeves up and getting stuck into the task at hand. There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves.
“The games are now coming thick and fast and the task at hand is sizeable but we are confident in the group we put together that they have what it takes and they certainly will not shirk from the challenges on the horizon.
“Your support over the years has never wavered and it might sound cliche, but it really does make a difference. The atmosphere on Friday was fantastic and we will certainly need more of the same against featherstone on Monday. We hope to see you in numbers, bringing the noise, doing what you do best on the 25th.
“Tough times don’t last, tough people do. Thank you for your continued backing.”
