Bradford Bulls should be aiming for a Super League return.

That is without doubt with the Bulls fans eager to see their club get back to where they feel they ‘belong’.

With almost a decade of rugby league in League One and the Championship, Bradford are rebuilding to eventually take a shot at reaching the promised land once more.

However, when giving two contract extensions to Dec Patton and Ebon Scurr ahead of the 2022 season, there have been two contract clauses put in in order to stave off Super League interest, according to one Bradford reporter.

“He (Patton) has recently signed a contract extension on the back of Super League interest in him going back to Super League,” Bradford journalist The Game Caller revealed on the Full Eighty Minutes podcast.

“He’s got a Super League contract clause in his contract like Ebon Scurr.

“But, you don’t know sign Dec Patton as a swap player for Danny Brough – you sign him for the rebuilding process.”

For Bradford, the club currently sits in eighth in the Championship table with six wins from 12 games, but look way off the pace of the two leaders Featherstone Rovers and Leigh Centurions.
