Bradford Bulls find themselves in the race for second place in the Championship and to aid that push they’ve dipped into the loan market to recruit a Wigan Warriors and a Warrington Wolves forward.
Eamon O’Carroll’s side have been very active in the loan and transfer market so far this season, particularly when it has come to swooping for players from Super League outfits.
Early in the season, they loaned in Hull FC’s Liam Tindall, the outside back having featured for them in 2023 when on dual registration with Leeds Rhinos.
Tindall was joined by FC’s Jayden Okunbor and then Franklin Pele, both who have departed Hull FC and signed permanently for Bradford Bulls. Both Pele and Tindall have been named in the Bulls’ 21-man squad for Sunday’s clash against York Knights.
Their bulk of Pele in the pack will be added to with today’s confirmed signings of Harvey Makin from Wigan Warriors and former Bradford Bulls man Dan Okoro from Warrington Wolves, both of whom are thrust immediately into the squad.

Both men were confirmed as arriving on a two-week loan deal in a statement shared to the Bradford Bulls’ website.
It read: “Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce Dan Okoro has returned to the club on an initial two-week loan deal.
“Dan is joined by powerful Wigan Warriors front-row forward Harvey Makin, who has also arrived at Bartercard Odsal on a short-term loan deal.”
Okoro is a former Bradford Bulls player, his impressive form earning him a move to Warrington Wolves who have now loaned him back to the Odsal club.
Speaking on his return, Eamon O’Carroll explained: “We are delighted to have Dan back, he’s a very well-liked member of our group and we know all too well what he can bring to the party in terms of his energy and intensity.
“I am excited to see how Dan has progressed having had a few months now under Sam Burgess at Warrington in a full-time Elite environment.”

On Makin, who has spent time on loan at both Barrow Raiders and London Broncos so far this season, O’Carroll explained that the club had been “monitoring” him for some time.
He said: “Harvey is a player I have been monitoring for some time so I am delighted to bring him to the club at a crucial stage of the season.
“He has some great experience at this level with Barrow Raiders but his time at London in Super League will have also helped his development so I am excited to be working with him.”
Both men have been named in Bradford Bulls’ 21-man squad to take on in-form York Knights with Bradford knowing that a win will help them keep the pressure on both Toulouse Olympique and Sheffield Eagles.
