Bradford Bulls boss Kurt Haggerty has revealed what the club’s plan is regarding winger Greg Eden.
Eden joined the Bulls on a month’s contract from North Wales Crusaders, coming to the club in a time of need when injuries were at a season-high.
Making his debut after just one training session, he featured against Hull KR and even scored a try on his maiden appearance.
He then featured for the club against Wigan Warriors, in what would turn out to be the final appearance in a Bulls shirt.
That is because, with players now back fit and selections being a lot healthier, Eden is no longer required.
Jayden Okunbor made his return from injury against Hull FC, with Connor Wynne named as 18th man. Ethan Ryan will miss this week due to concussion, but he will be fine to play after the Challenge Cup break.
Asked if Eden had a future at Bradford following his month-long stint, Haggerty revealed: “His last week will be next week, and then Greg will move on.
“I spoke to Greg in the week and just explained that we’ve got wingers back fit, and we’ve got Luke Hooley as well now, so all our outside backs are fit.
“He was great. The Hull KR game in particular, he came in and helped us at a really tough time, and he’s a great lad.
He brought a bit of experience around the place and we wish him all the very best of luck.”
