Bradford Bulls confirm friendly against Super League side

Bradford Bulls have announced that they will be taking on Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 22nd January as part of their 2023 pre-season schedule.

The Giants made it to the 2022 Challenge Cup Final against Wigan Warriors and will make the short trip to Odsal Stadium for a 2:00pm kick off which will see Michael Lawrence and Chester Butler in contention to face their former club.

The clash – which is Mark Dunning’s side’s second of three pre-season fixtures – will give Bradford supporters a first glimpse at the likes of Leeds Rhinos duo Jack Walker, Bodene Thompson, as well as the aforementioned Lawrence and co. running out in the red, amber and black at Odsal for the first time.

This will be the Bulls’ second of three friendlies.

The other two will come away from Odsal either side of this fixture as Dunning prepares for a shot at promotion with an exciting Bradford squad coming together which is set to be enhanced by further incomings according to reports.

The Bulls have been outside of Super League since 2014 but won the competition four times last doing so in 2005 prior to being crowned World Club Champions in 2006 at the home of the Giants.

This game though will see the Giants come to Odsal.
