Bradford Bulls confirm another friendly alongside clash against Huddersfield Giants

Earlier this week Bradford Bulls have announced that they will be taking on Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 22nd January as part of their 2023 pre-season schedule.

The Giants made it to the 2022 Challenge Cup Final against Wigan Warriors and will make the short trip to Odsal Stadium for a 2:00pm kick off which will see Michael Lawrence and Chester Butler in contention to face their former club.

The clash – which is Mark Dunning’s side’s second of three pre-season fixtures – will give Bradford supporters a first glimpse at the likes of Leeds Rhinos duo Jack Walker, Bodene Thompson, as well as the aforementioned Lawrence and co. running out in the red, amber and black at Odsal for the first time.

This will be the Bulls’ second of three friendlies.

Today the West Yorkshire club confirmed a friendly away against relegated Dewsbury Rans who are preparing for the Betfred League 1 season and hoping to ensure promotion back to the Championship.

The game will take place on 15th January at 2pm.

It will be the first of the three friendliest and followed by the clash against Huddersfield.

The final fixture will also come away from Odsal as Dunning prepares for a shot at promotion with an exciting Bradford squad coming together which is set to be enhanced by further incomings according to reports.

The Bulls have been outside of Super League since 2014 but won the competition four times last doing so in 2005 prior to being crowned World Club Champions in 2006.
