Bradford Bulls bring fan favourite back to club after Featherstone Rovers deal

Bradford Bulls have brought an old fans favourite back to Odsal, much to the joy of their supporters.

Featherstone Rovers snapped up Brandon Pickersgill at the beginning of the 2022 season from Bradford, but with the signing of Mark Kheirallah, Pickersgill has found his game time limited.

Now, he has made a short-term loan move back to where it all started at Odsal.

The 25-year-old is a product of the Bradford Bulls Academy and made his senior bow in 2017, away at Toulouse Olympique.

The full-back made 20 appearances in the red, amber and black last year, scoring nine tries – with performances that warranted interest from the top of the Championship as Featherstone made their interest well known.

Pickersgill will be available for selection ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Olympic Legacy Park to tackle Sheffield Eagles and will likely be thrown straight in by interim head coach Mark Dunning following the dismal thrashing away at Rovers last Monday.

Bradford currently sit outside the play-offs and will need to work hard to be involved at the business end of the season.
