Bradford appoint Geoff Toovey

Geoff Toovey, who spent four years in charge of the Manly Sea Eagles, has been named the new head coach of Bradford.

Toovey has been out of the game since he was sacked by the Sea Eagles in 2015 but has previously built up a reputation as one of the best coaches in the NRL.

In the press conference, it was also revealed that Leon Pryce would be the club’s captain for the 2017 with Jas Athwal, a West Yorkshire deputy lieutenant, named the Bulls’ new chairman.
