Brad Singleton opens up on struggles that Wigan are facing

Wigan Warriors are still smarting from their 14-0 home defeat to Leeds Rhinos on Wednesday night.

It was the first time that Wigan had been nilled at home at the DW Stadium since Super League began, with Warriors fans showing their displeasure during and after the game.

But, forward Brad Singleton doesn’t think that people should write the Warriors off just yet, especially considering that they earned a Grand Final spot in 2020.

“The answers are always going to be in that room,” Singleton said.

“This group of staff got to the Grand Final last year and were within a kick of winning it

“People can write us off all they want but we can’t let that in – negativity cannot be allowed in.

“For me, it’s all about being together, looking at ourselves in the mirror and blaming yourself first before anyone else.”

Wigan and Singleton don’t have long to rectify the problems, with a visit to play-off hunting Castleford on Monday lurking round the corner.
