Brad Fittler has named his New South Wales squad for Game I of State of Origin in 2022.
The Blues have shifted power in their favour in recent seasons despite a blip in 2020 thanks to a Harry Grant inspired Queensland performance.
Their recent dominance has come on the back of a trio of fullbacks all of whom have always been included in the side usually with two at centre in the shape of Latrell Mitchell and Tom Trbojevic whilst James Tedesco stars at one.
As skipper, Tedesco will again get the nod at fullback and was likely the first name in the squad Fittler named.
However his partners in crime are both unavailable through injury with Tommy Turbo out with a shoulder problem and Mitchell our with a hamstring issue.
There’s also no place for Trbojevic the older Jake.
Konni Stags and Stephen Crichton will form a new centre pairing for the side.

Queensland are expected to announce their squad tomorrow.
