Bolton Mets prepare for big 2019!

Having made some huge strides forward in 2018, we are excited to get started ahead of the 2019 campaign.

Our long running partnership with Essa Academy Sports Centre continues, meaning our pre season training sessions with start on Wednesday 5th December at 7pm. The first three sessions on the 5th, 12th and 19th December will predominantly be used to blow away the cobwebs with some rugby games, and to welcome new players, before we commence full pre season training on Wednesday 2nd January.

The excellent facilities at Essa have allowed us to train over the winter months, without the fear of unplayable pitches, for the past 5 years and this has played its part in helping us attract new players. Being able to train consistently is a huge boost and we hope the early start will allow us to hit the ground running in January.

After putting the day and time for training to a player vote, Wednesday from 7pm until 9pm came out as the most popular, with this being the case, we hope the numbers start high and remain that way for the full season.

We are eager to build on this years success with more positive performances and victories in 2019, if you want to be a part of the exciting times ahead then please feel free to get in touch via this website, Twitter (@BoltonMetsRLFC), Facebook (Bolton Mets) or by phone/text to Chairman Stuart Cooke on 07802 608256.
