Board change at Super League club sees favourite step down

It’s all change at Leigh as long-serving board member Steve Hill has stepped down.

Hil will continue to support the Club through his company Hilltop Products Limited, who are the Club’s principal sponsor.

Club owner Derek Beaumont said: “I would like to thank Steve for not only his sponsorship of the club but his contribution to the operational board. He is Leigh through and through and very passionate about the team.

“I look forward to still seeing him around the place and sharing a beer with him when we get our first win. I am taking a much-needed family holiday on Wednesday but will provide an update on the club to our sponsors and supporters before I leave the country.”
