Leigh Leopards are above the likes of Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves and Hull FC in the table, they are Challenge Cup winners and are battling with Wigan Warriors and St Helens up at the top of the league.
But their season hit a low with a second consecutive defeat and this one by 52-10 to Hull KR who gained revenge for their Wembley heartache.
Leigh fans were not happy with one fan calling it “unacceptable.”
Wouldn't say forget it tonight totally as that performance was unacceptable. However, every player had the worst game since they have been at the club, so in that respect forgot tonight, but now we need a big reaction next week.

Another supporter though was more reasonable chalking the win up to tiredness.
Looked tired tonight, move on to next week đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Despite this fans slammed a “poor performance.”
Very poor tonight but won when it counted! Now the bad performance is out the way we can kick on for the play offs.

Another supporter told the side that the holiday was over.
The Challenge Cup holiday is over now … time to move on & finish on a level for what the staff & team have worked for all season … let’s go !!

But like other fans, there were some who accepted that this was on the cards.
Yeah its pretty shit but it had to happen eventually
Use it as motivation to smash huddersfield next week

Remarkably, one fan accused the officials of “blatant cheating” to get Hull KR the win.
Kendall and Smith were disgraceful. Leigh were not awarded a single penalty until minute fifty. Soon after that they scored. Virtually every Hull KR point could be disputed in the first half The officials were as bad as you will ever see. Not mistakes, just blatant cheating.

This came on a great night for Hull KR who laid down a real marker early on who caused an awful lot of damage with some top notch rugby league from a much more balanced Hull KR side.
After a really strong start, Hull KR probed the line and as Brad Schneider moved across the pitch before a short ball and a great angled run allowed Shaun Kenny-Dowall to carve through and score.
After a yellow card against Leigh at Wembley which resulted in a ban, Minchella meant business as he powered over after good work from Matt Parcell.
A great player saw Mikey Lewis generate space and Ryan Hall danced down the touch line before a forward roll over the line saw him touch down.
Jack Walker was having a superb game for the Robins in a rare appearance and he linked up in a sweeping play to feed Louis Senior to score who produced a scruffy finish.
After an error from Tom Briscoe after a high kick, Lewis was on hand to take the bouncing ball and score in the corner.
The Robins then added another try with Ryan Hall devastating down the wing again before feeding the ball back inside for Shaun Kenny-Dowall to score again as the Robins gained revenge for their defeat at Wembley against Leigh in golden point.
