The full Super League fixture list has been announced and we’ve highlighted all the biggest need-to-know dates in the calendar.
Every club announced their first home and away games last night meaning that the full picture for Round One and Round Two was painted. There was also confirmation of Rivals Round which is slated to be played in Round Eight over the Easter weekend.
Of course, the Good Friday and Hull derbies will be played that weekend with a return to the schedule for Castleford Tigers taking on Wakefield Trinity as one of the major derbies in the calendar.
We’ve picked out some other key dates for the calendar, some of which are specific rounds or moments in the season, whilst others are just among some of the other biggest and most mouthwatering games.
Key dates for the Super League season
Starting with the matters that aren’t up for debate or subjective, we’ve highlighted some of the landmark moments or rounds in the season.
Round One is obviously the best place to start with Wigan Warriors opening the season up on February 13th when they host Leigh Leopards. Matt Peet’s side will find themselves in the spotlight again just over a fortnight later.
Their game against Warrington Wolves on Saturday, 1st March in Round Three is among the biggest spectacles of the upcoming Super League campaign. Kick-off for that will be 9:30pm UK time.
Fast forward to Easter and Rivals Round is another big one to mark in the calendar. Those fixtures will then be reversed in Round 25, making those games somewhat spicy as we approach the end of the season.
Magic Weekend is next up with the event returning to Newcastle for 2025. Those games will take place on the weekend of May 3rd and 4th.
It was confirmed recently that there would be a split round midway through the season and that comes in Round 20, split across late July and early August.
The final round of the Super League season will see games played from September 18th to September 21st, leading us into the play-offs with the eliminators played on the 26th and 27th of the month.
Semi-finals will be played on October 3rd and 4th before the Grand Final at Old Trafford a week later on October 11th.

The biggest games of the Super League season
All of the above are the facts surrounding the season. Now comes the subjective part where we pick out ten of the most intriguing games in the calendar, outside of the obvious Hull and Good Friday derbies which we have covered here.
Of the ten fixtures we’ve picked out, there are a number of repeats of last year’s classics as well as some games that we think could become belters in 2025.
The first of these is Wigan and Warrington in Round Three. A brilliant fixture anyway but now play it in Las Vegas and it’s monumental.
Round Five plays host to some great games with Hull KR v Leigh and St Helens v Warrington also scheduled but Wakefield Trinity taking on Hull FC could be the pick of the games. How will the newly-promoted Trinity fare against last year’s strugglers? Also on in Round Five is Wigan Warriors travelling to Headingley in a major test for Brad Arthur.
Round Nine gives us a repeat of the best play-off game from 2024 when Warrington edged St Helens 23-22. They face off at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on April 24th which is a date to note in the diary.
The ‘John Asiata derby’ takes place in Round 12 when Leigh Leopards welcome back their former skipper as Hull FC roll into town. The pre-match talk from owner Derek Beaumont alone could make this worthwhile.
Round 15 is another round with multiple fixtures of interest including St Helens hosting Leeds Rhinos on the Friday night. That comes ahead of the Burgess derby between Warrington Wolves and Huddersfield as Sam welcomes Tom.
The remaining fixtures on the list all come at the sharp end of the season with one in Round 26 and two in 27. First up Leigh host St Helens in a game that could have huge play-off repercussions before two epics in the final round of the year.
Hull KR host Warrington in a repeat of last year’s semi-final whilst Wigan Warriors take on Leeds Rhinos in a fixture that always delivers.
