BBC confirm Challenge Cup fifth round coverage

The BBC’s cameras will be heading for Newcastle Thunder in the fifth round of the Challenge Cup.

They will host the winners of the outstanding fourth round match between Championship rivals Whitehaven and Dewsbury Rams.

Taking pace at Kingston Park on Sunday March 15 (kick-off 3pm), Thunder are likely to fancy their chances of an upset whoever they come up against.

Elsewhere, Our League will stream the all-Super League tie between Huddersfield Giants and Toronto Wolfpack on Wednesday March 11 (kick-off 7.45pm).

Huddersfield have revealed special ticket prices for the Canadian club’s first visit to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Adult tickets for the midweek clash will priced at only £10, while entry for under 17s will be free.

Tickets are now on sale for Rugby League’s unique ‘triple header’: the semi-finals of the men’s Coral Challenge Cup and the Women’s Coral Challenge Cup Final at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday 6 June.

The Coral Women’s Challenge Cup Final will kick off a massive day of Rugby League action at 11.15am, followed by the men’s semi-finals at 2pm and 4.30pm.
