Huddersfield Giants travelled to the Barrow Raiders today for a brilliant Challenge Cup Sixth Round tie.

Huddersfield led 18-6 at half-time, but Barrow came back to 22-16 midway through the second-half.

However, Huddersfield eventually ran out 30-16 winners in what had been a terrific contest.

Highlights

Tee Ritson’s interception try was magnificent and showed just why he is so highly thought of.

1. Tee Ritson for Super League?

The Barrow Raiders winger showed just why he is being linked with a Super League move after intercepting one pass to run 90 metres and then finishing superbly for his second.

2. The magic of the cup

Who said the Challenge Cup has lost its magic? Thousands of fans flocked to Craven Park to watch an absolute thriller between a Super League and a Championship side. The game went all the way to the wire and proved that the cup is well and truly alive – especially for those sides lower down.
