Leeds Rhinos’ clash with Catalans Dragons on Saturday was one of the games of the season.

We saw some sublime tries, some controversy and a brilliant comeback from the Rhinos.

It was a game that summed up the innovation that Rohan Smith’s side play with and it made for a magic attacking performance.

Speaking after the game on the Super League Show, former Rhino and Huddersfield Giants star Ash Golding said it was a really weird game that left him speechless.

“Do you know what, I think I’m speechless for the first time ever I’ve come on TV and I can’t speak,” he said.

“It had a bit of everything. It had a bit of composure, completion, flair, kicking on the second tackle, offloads every other tackle.

“It just seems that Leeds were prepared for that, they look like they practice that way and they were prepared for that and they seemed quite comfortable when the game got like that, a little bit scrappy and a little bit end to end and frantic.

“The way Catalans play, they kind of break teams down systematically and kick to corners and rely on Tom Johnstone and Tom Davies for finishing and they weren’t prepared for that and it was a really weird watch to be honest.”
