Appeal decision REVEALED on Leeds Rhinos’ Aidan Sezer

Leeds Rhinos have been given the news on their appeal decision for Aidan Sezer’s trip.

In turn, the Leeds halfback has been successful in appealing the grading of his suspension for tripping and it has now been reduced to a Grade B charge with a one-game suspension.

It means that Sezer will miss Friday’s trip to Hull KR but will be available for the following Friday’s clash with Warrington at Headingley.

Croft stepped Leeds’ Sezer with the Rhinos halfback appearing to trip the Red Devils star after being wrongfooted in the middle of the field.

Referee Ben Thaler called a knock on despite the trip being widely obvious to those viewing the game with the Rhinos then scoring from the next set and Rowley was unhappy.

“I think we got some real tough calls. The trip – Leeds should be down to 12 men and they’re not and I don’t get how cannot see that,” Rowley said after the game.

“The first two six agains against on the second half were back to six, back to six, sin bin. I think that was a bit the occasion getting the better of everybody and it became a Leeds party at the end of it but the best team won in my opinion.”
